Ingredients

Chana dal
200 gm
Ghee
30 ml
Hing (asafetida)
A pinch
Cumin seed
2 gm
Dry chili
2 pc
Chopped onion
20 gm
Chopped tomato
20 gm
Chopped G.G
15 gm
Turmeric
3 gram
Cumin coriander powder
5 gram
Chopped coriander
For garnish
Salt
To taste

Method

  1. Wash and soak the dal up to 8 hours and boil it.
  2. Heat butter on a pot, add dry chili, cumin seed, hing temper it.
  3. Add onion, G.G make brown.
  4. Now add tomatoes, turmeric, C.C powder and salt make fine masala.
  5. Now add boiled dal, cook well when ready, garnish and serve.
